Week 12’s Sunday Night Football bout between the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles was an offensive showcase, as the 46.5-point total was cleared in the first half.

Led by quarterback Jalen Hurts, the Eagles came out on top and beat Aaron Rodgers and the Packers 40-33.

Offensive spotlight: Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers exited in the second half with an oblique injury, thrusting Jordan Love onto the field. And while Love played well enough and did everything right, Jalen Hurts and Co. were one step ahead for most of the night.

The Eagles put on an unforgettable display on the ground. As a whole, Philly averaged 7.4 yards per carry, produced 11 explosive runs of 10 or more yards and racked up 363 rush yards overall. All three of those metrics are season highs for Nick Sirianni's men.

A lot went into that production, but no one was more impactful than Hurts. The quarterback picked up 10 rushing first downs on 16 attempts (11 designed, five scrambles). And Hurts is just the second quarterback with double-digit first downs rushing in a single game this year (Justin Fields had 12 in Week 9 vs. Miami).

Defensive spotlight: Eagles off-ball linebacker T.J. Edwards continued his underrated season with a strong performance on Sunday Night. The Wisconsin product entered the game as the NFL’s third-highest-graded off-ball linebacker. Against Green Bay, he totaled three defensive stops and didn’t miss a single tackle on seven attempts.

Rookie spotlight: Packers edge defender Kingsley Enagbare recorded a key tackle for loss early in the game, and wide receiver Christian Watson showed off his speed on a 52-yard catch-and-run touchdown. However, no rookie made a better play on Sunday Night than Eagles safety Reed Blankenship, who read Rodgers like a book to drive down from deep safety and jump in front of a horizontal route and snag an interception.

Offensive line spotlight: Philly’s offensive line produced what will likely end up as their highest single-game grade of 2022, but the biggest star from the group of standouts was undoubtedly center Jason Kelce. The veteran didn’t allow a single pressure all night long and racked up 15 positively graded run blocks on first review. The latter would tie for the second-most in a single game this season.
